BBA announces June breakfast series speakers
Updated June 6, 2016: Michelle Nunn will now speak to the BBA in October ATLANTA, June 1, 2016 — A series of high-profile business and non-profit leaders are scheduled to speak to the Buckhead Business Association (BBA) during the organization’s breakfast meetings in June. Speakers scheduled for June are:
Michelle Nunn, president and CEO of CARE USA, is now scheduled to appear before the civic group in October. The BBA holds breakfast meetings at 7:30 a.m. most Thursday mornings at the City Club of Buckhead. Meetings feature a business, political or civic leader as a speaker, and topics usually include leading issues within the Buckhead community and Atlanta as a whole. Tickets for members are $10 in advance and $12 at the door; non-member tickets are $20. Meanwhile, the BBA’s YoungBucks are holding a social from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at The Southern Gentleman. The organization is also planning a lunch and learn on June 14 about Professional Branding. YoungBucks is open to all young professionals 35 years old and younger who work, live, play or have an interest in the Buckhead community. Created by the BBA during the mid 1990s, YoungBucks members seek to strengthen the community through involvement in community service. In addition, the BBA has announced this year’s Taste of Buckhead is set for Sept. 15 at The Stave Room at American Spirit Works, Buckhead’s newest event space.
