The Business Empowerment Breakfast Series is brought to you by the Buckhead Business Association. This brekfast event is in partnership with Liveable Buckhead and the Atlanta regional Commission


Business Empowerment Breakfasts take place on Thursday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Maggiano's Buckhead, and feature thought leaders and influencer from all over the country. Past speakers have included business and civic leaders, authors, entertainers and representatives from some of the City’s finest cultural establishments.  Networking takes place beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a call to order promptly at 7:45 a.m.

Livable Buckhead, in partnership with Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), will provide you with comprehensive demographic and growth trends analysis for Buckhead and the Atlanta Region. Mike Alexander, Director, Center for Livable Communities at ARC, will provide information on population growth, employment forecasts, job assessments, housing, transportation and more.

Developers, Leasing Agents, Property Management Teams, Facilities Teams and Human Resource Teams should not miss this opportunity to learn firsthand about demographic and growth trends for Buckhead and the Atlanta Region through this informative seminar.

About Mike Alexander:

Having worked for the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) since April of 2001, Mike is the Director of ARC’s Center for Livable Communities. The Center for Livable Communities is responsible for a range of planning and programmatic initiatives in the areas of transportation and mobility, community development, water resources, and leadership development. Key activities include the development and maintenance of the Atlanta Region’s Plan, the region’s comprehensive long-range blueprint, and development of the Regional Transportation Plan and regional Water Supply and Water Conservation Management Plan. The center assists local governments in the development of regional plans and programs and reviews local comprehensive plans and Developments of Regional Impact (DRI). The center also produces data to inform ARC’s planning activities. The Center for Livable Communities includes the following ARC groups: • Community Development • Community Partnerships • Mobility Services • Natural Resources • Research & Analytics • Transportation Access
