Marco's experience with the mortgage industry actually starts way before he even started working at any financial institution.
In 2010, Marco was excited about being the first person in his immediate family to graduate high school, but was also stressed about how to pay for college. An even larger and more real stress was the overwhelming fear of potentially being forced out of the home his parents has been paying a mortgage on for 15 years. Unfortunately, as immigrant parents who worked in construction, their income sources drastically changed and they could not find anybody to help with their challenges. Mortgage and real estate terms are hard to understand in any language, but is even more challenging with a language barrier, especially when your translator is only 17 years old! Marco's family spent years in fear of coming home to their items placed outside their home just like they had seen with many other homes in their neighborhood.
Finally in May of 2014, Marco became the first person in his family to graduate from college! The entire time he was in college however, Marco debated giving up on school and working to help with the bills at home. That November, Marco's family also formally left his childhood home and started renting again due to financial struggles.
When Marco joined the mortgage industry in 2016, his main goal was to help his parents purchase another home. In November of 2018, they were finally able to purchase their home five miles from their old home that they had to leave! It took a whole family and two years of working at a mortgage company to finally realize that goal.
As a Loan Consultant, Marco's goal is to help new buyers also obtain this goal and improve their overall situation. Marco believes that every challenge is setting you up for an even greater level of success!
