Best-selling New York Times reviewed author and Emmy Award winning storyteller Alvin Townley has literally circled the world three times to discover inspiring stories of le adership and purpose. His five nationally-acclaimed books have received rav e reviews from John McCain, Jimmy Carter, Peyton Manning, Tom Wolfe, and ot hers. He was also part of the team behind the PBS film Jeremiah, which won Best Documentary. Alvin has talked leadership with icons like Michael Bloom berg, Robert Gates, Justice Stephen Breyer, Unbroken’s Louie Zamperini, and Apollo 13’s Jim Lovell. He has been invited to speak at venues including T he White House and U.S. Capitol; CNN, FOX, and NPR have featured his expert ise. An Eagle Scout and NCAA athlete, Alvin graduated from Washington & Lee University. He has worked in the U.S. Congress; managed global strateg y for an 85,000-person firm; and led external relations for a Grammy- and T ony-winning national arts center. In 2020 he founded LegacyCraft to help pe ople and organizations activate their legacies. A Georgia Author of the Yea r, he lives outside his hometown of Atlanta, close to the rivers and trails he loves to enjoy with his wife Suzanne and their two children.
