About the event
Join us for BBA’s Business Empowerment Breakfast with Frederick Taylor, known professionally as Fr3deR1cK. He is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, storyteller, and activist based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the founder and creative director of Tomorrow Pictures.
Born on Chicago’s South Side in 1966, Taylor grew up in Westchester, Pennsylvania. He earned a degree in film from Temple University and later pursued graduate studies in communications at Georgia State University. In 1994, he founded Tomorrow Pictures, inspired by a Ziggy Marley performance that emphasized unity and forward-thinking.
Fred's work is characterized by a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and storytelling that challenges societal norms. His personal motto, “The story is in the telling,” underscores his belief in the transformative power of narrative.
